Overview

Among the projects our team is working on are new anti-rejection techniques for heart and lung transplant patients; ventricular assist devices to help the heart heal itself; autologous stem cell injections into damaged heart tissue to improve ejection fraction in patients with heart failure; and new minimally invasive surgical techniques decrease length of stay.
